RocketToons Commercial advertises a commercial licence for finished videos, while a separately described Reseller package concerns supplying software accounts. Those are different business activities. Neither label should be expanded into an invented promise of unrestricted rights to every asset or permission to rebrand the application.
This guide explains the distinctions and the questions to verify; it is not a substitute for the actual contract or legal advice. For the broader product recommendation, read our RocketToons review, and use the pricing guide for advertised package costs.

Finished-video services versus account provision
A commercial video workflow can involve producing a client explainer, a promotional cartoon or an instructional asset. You create the deliverable and supply the agreed output. A software-reselling workflow instead gives a customer access to an account under defined terms. Do not describe these as interchangeable benefits.
| Intended activity | Permission to establish |
|---|---|
| Publish your own original video | Rights to the software output and every source ingredient |
| Deliver a paid client MP4 | Commercial output use and the agreed customer licence |
| Supply a software account | Specific Reseller entitlement and account limits |
| Rebrand the application | Explicit white-label permission, if any |
| Redistribute raw assets or music | Separate asset redistribution rights |
The official materials describe Commercial output use and Reseller account options. They do not establish every permission in this table. Treat missing permission as a question to resolve, not a benefit to add to a sales page.
A software licence does not clear your uploaded assets
If you upload a character, photograph, voice recording, logo or song, verify that you can use it for the intended job. A customer providing an asset does not automatically prove they own it. Ask for the permissions needed by the project and keep that confirmation with the brief.
Be especially careful with recognizable protected characters and misleading impersonation. Choosing a visual style does not authorize copying a franchise. A generated voice should not imply that a real person endorsed the content without proper permission. The style guide and voiceover guide discuss those production choices.
Define what the customer receives
Agree whether delivery includes an MP4, alternate aspect ratios, captions, source references or editable project access. Do not promise an editable handoff if your selected account cannot provide it. State who handles publication and whether the project remains stored in your account after delivery.
Separate revisions from new work. A correction to an approved line is different from a new cast, setting or visual treatment. Use approvals at the script, character and storyboard stages. This gives both parties a shared record of the creative direction before resource-consuming generation begins.
Evaluate Reseller as a different operating model
The official description lists Reseller options for 25 or 100 client accounts. Confirm which tier is included in the order, what plans can be assigned and which support responsibilities remain with you. An account count does not by itself establish transferable ownership, unlimited end-user usage or permission to alter the software brand.
Before offering accounts to customers, understand how access is created, managed and revoked under the applicable terms. Do not sell a service based solely on a promotional phrase about keeping proceeds. The business still needs a clear customer agreement, an honest description of entitlements and a support process you can actually maintain.
Budget for delivery and retention
Your service cost includes more than the entry software price. Review time, approved revisions, generation allowance, storage and client communication all matter. The credits guide explains why unlimited project creation should not become a promise of unlimited client revisions.
Keep a delivery archive outside any temporary project retention period where permitted. Confirm the storage terms rather than assuming the platform will retain every source forever. A downloaded final file, approved script and asset-permission record can be important when a customer returns with a question months later.
A sensible commercial starting point
Begin with a tightly scoped original deliverable: one audience, one message and an agreed format. Demonstrate an appropriate sample without inventing customer outcomes. Quote the work you can deliver, not guaranteed views, leads or sales. A creative tool can support a service, but it does not establish demand or replace customer acquisition.
Before charging, verify the current licence, source rights, account requirements and any relevant refund or cancellation terms. We have not independently established a complete legal entitlement set for every package. Our favorable product recommendation concerns its creative workflow, not a blanket authorization for every possible business use.
Frequently asked questions
Can Commercial be used for client videos?
Commercial output use is advertised. Verify the actual licence and the rights to all uploaded or incorporated assets before delivering client work.
Does Commercial include software-reselling rights?
Do not assume that. A separate Reseller package is described for supplying client accounts.
Are white-label rights established?
Not by the evidence used for this guide. Account reselling and application rebranding are different permissions.
Can I promise a customer sales results?
No result is established by owning the software. Describe the agreed creative deliverable and avoid unsupported business-performance guarantees.
Product information and review scope
Product information checked October 24, 2026 against the official product specifications and supplied product material. Official descriptions inform the feature breakdown; they are not independent evidence of results. Where the sources disagree on package allowances, this guide preserves the uncertainty rather than choosing the most generous figure.
We tried RocketToons and liked using it. That qualitative experience is separate from package documentation and does not establish testing of every optional module, a paid-checkout verification, a measured outcome or a particular refund period. Use the official purchase route for current availability and the selected order's terms.
